The Role

PERSONAL ASSISTANT to the HEADTEACHER

 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, approachable professional to join our team. Our ideal candidate will need to be committed, able to think strategically and work alongside the Headteacher to prioritise and manage workload successfully, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.


 

Salary:                        Pay Band H - pt.25 to pt.28 (£32,144 - £35,397)

Contract type:            Term Time Plus 3 weeks

Contract term:            Permanent

Start date:                  Week commencing 2nd June 2025

 

Main Purpose of the Role will be to:

 

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Headteacher.
  • Manage and coordinate the Headteacher’s diary, appointments, and meetings.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Headteacher, handling communications and correspondence efficiently.
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations as required.
  • To support the organisation of school events, including parent evenings and school functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
  • Liaise with staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders professionally.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Ensure all correspondence and documentation is well-organised and easily accessible.
