The Role

SIMS and Data Manager (Maternity cover November 2023 onwards)

Salary band PO3

0.6 FTE (21.6 hours per week term time +3 weeks)

We are seeking to appoint a SIMS and Data Manager to support teaching and learning within the school.

 

Under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, the post holder will facilitate the effective use of data to support and inform school improvement plans and the school leadership team by:

·      providing a lead for the management and co-ordination of efficient procedures and systems relating to school data and the management information system

·      coordinating the development and maintenance of the school timetable under direction from senior staff, and in collaboration with key stakeholders

·      taking responsibility for the completion and return of the School Census

 

Our ideal candidate will be: -

·      an exceptional administrator who is proficient in working with large data sets and spreadsheets

·      dynamic and a highly motivated individual who is methodical, accurate, well organised and has the ability to meet deadlines


Experience of working within a similar role in education is desirable but not essential.
